Frequently asked questions about comprehensive financial planning

A comprehensive financial plan covers your current net worth, cash flow analysis, retirement projections, tax planning, insurance review, and estate planning considerations — with clear action steps. You walk away knowing exactly where you stand financially and what to do next.
Fee-only means I charge you directly for my advice — I earn nothing from selling any financial product. Most advisors in Edmonton earn commissions from the products they recommend, which creates a conflict of interest. As a fee-only CFP, my only incentive is giving you the best advice possible.
Most comprehensive plans take 4–6 weeks from our first meeting. We gather your information, build the analysis, and review the findings and recommendations together in a follow-up meeting.
No minimum asset requirement. What matters is that you are ready to take your finances seriously and act on the advice. I work with clients at various wealth stages across Alberta.
